Welcome to kissing bridge cabin

Kissing Bridge Cabin will accommodate two guests and it comes complete with all that you need for short or long stays.  It is steps away from your own fire pit & semi- private beach (shared with Kissing Bridge Cottage).

We are only a short 10 minute drive to either the town of Hampton or Quispamsis, where you will find shops and excellent local eateries.  A 40 minute drive will bring you  St. Martins, a small village on the Bay of Fundy. Also known as 'A Place of Tidal Wonder', where you can explore sea caves, search for sea glass and can continue on to the famous Fundy Trail. 

Kissing Bridge Cabin is a cozy newer space, created for a calming riverside vacation. It sits on the first property of Darlings Island, welcoming you to your home away from home. The century old Covered Bridge (now just for foot and bicycle traffic) is just a stroll down the driveway. The Cabin itself is small (12x16) with an open studio concept including simple furnishings for optimal comfort and gorgeous river views. It’s equipped with all of your amenities like coffee maker, microwave, extra linens, dishes, and coffee/tea, shampoo, body wash, slippers, umbrella, books, blankets, crib board/cards, even a bed for your pup. I’ve tried to think of everything that would ensure an enjoyable stay, but if there’s something that I’ve missed, please let me know and I’ll happily add it. Your large (10x16) private deck is an extension of your space, with a BBQ, patio chairs, table, umbrella for outdoor dining, reading and sipping on a beverage.  It overlooks your own bonfire pit that is one of my favourite spots on our property. Make sure to pick up firewood for cozy, star gazing evenings, riverside..

Fishing and swimming are encouraged. Floaties can be available for lazy river adventures. The Hammond River is tidal, and is always moving and switches directions every 6 or so hours. So if you are floating, its a good idea to tie yourself to shore. Kayaking is really the best way to immerse yourself in the beautiful Hammond River channels. Luckily we have many kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards for our guests to use. FYI - BECAUSE THE HAMMOND RIVER IS TIDAL, THE WEATHER AND TIME OF YEAR HAVE A DIRECT EFFECT ON OUR WATER/BEACH LEVEL. 

Kissing Bridge Cottage is our other seasonal rental that is also located on this property (about 100 feet away), they have their own space with a fire pit in the front yard (you’ll notice when driving by).
